How to Get Involved and Join

All of CABC’s ministries are open to you.  Please survey our numerous ministries and attend to learn more about them. 

The best way to get involved at Carlisle is to join.   Every Christian is required to make a personal commitment to Christ that is to be lived out in the context of a local church.  Church membership is not like joining a social organization.  It is where Christians covenant together under a common denominator of convictions and the gospel of Jesus Christ.  We live lives together to care for one another, to encourage one another, and to hold each other accountable to the truths found in God’s Word. 

Anyone who follows the command of Jesus to repent and be baptized, who believes the Bible to be God’s Word and who is willing to commit to the life and  faith of this local body may become a member.

If you are interested in membership at CABC, please speak with one of our staff members.  Before one becomes a member that will meet with a pastor to discuss their conversion experience, take part in a membership class and learn about our church covenant.  After you have joined, you will be encouraged to serve using the gifts that God has blessed you with and to be an active participant in church life.
